FAQs
MD Today Urgent Care Clinic FAQ
Quick answers for patients and families before, during, and after an urgent care visit.
Important: If you believe you are having a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Urgent care is designed for conditions that need prompt attention but are not immediately life-threatening.
When to Go to the Emergency Room
Call 911 or go to the emergency department for symptoms such as chest pain or pressure, severe trouble breathing, signs of stroke, loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, major head or spine injuries, severe allergic reactions, poisoning or overdose, suicidal thoughts, or sudden severe pain. When in doubt, choose emergency care.
We do not evaluate or treat concussion symptoms and refer to the Emergency Room for urgent assessment.
